Rivna market bag
Rivna is Norwegian for slit or crack. The pattern on this market bag looks fabulous and reminds me of dropped stitches in knitting.
In the pattern there are written instructions and a chart for rounds 8-13. You will also find step by step instructions for front post double crochet stitches. The bag is made bottom up in the round. I recommend beginning from the dark side of the yarn, so the bottom will be the darkest part of the bag.
I used 1 cake Scheepjes Whirl ombré petrol please me 562 and a shop bought bag handle. If you prefer crocheting handles, there are instructions for that as well.
Recommended hook: 2,5 mm
Finished measurements: Approximately 40 cm (16 in) in width, 30 cm (12 in) high. It stretches when you fill it, so don’t be tempted to make it too large.
